Life is a circle
A race I never registered for
I tire from competing
With who? I ask myself
Running on barefoot
For my shoes are worn out
With no finish line in sight
I know not where to head
Who judges the race
I pray ye to pause
For my breath, I need to catch
A race of no end
Am I to stop;
Or to surge on
Which is a win or lose
For I keep seeing one thing…
