Hoping for Hope

Posted: August 11, 2014 in NATURE

So empty the sky was
With some part battling to unleash light.
Causing another to frown upon the earth.
Aiming to pour down the comforter of farmers,
And the enemy of traders.

Leaving the trees desolate with
no refuge
Even if there were options
All left is to stand and suffer
Waving their leaves in agony
In unison with the eye-slashing wind

Facedown are the leaves
Recieving the unending splatters of mud
The breaking of the dark sky
By the benevolent ras
Causing it to have a tingle
A cause to hope
Hope for redemption
